Join the movement to uproot abuse by launching a Peer Advocate Crew on campus or in your community!
Anyone can start a Peer Advocate Crew Club—regardless of experience.
First, you’ll complete our Peer Advocate Academy. This interactive, evidence-informed curriculum focuses on healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, help-seeking and safety, root causes, influences, communication, consent and coping, bystander intervention, and more!
Then you’ll learn and practice how to help a peer who’s experiencing or witnessing interpersonal violence through our empathy-centered L.E.V.E.L.™ response training. And you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to listen, empathize, validate, encourage, and link peers to resources.
Complete your Peer Advocate training with 2 immersive sessions on activating peers via awareness campaigns, and by amplifying your voice through public speaking to inspire positive change.

Saanvi started a Peer Advocate Crew in 2019 and was promoted to a Southwest Regional Director in 2020. She attended BASIS Peoria High School and was also a City of Peoria Youth Advisory Board Member. She served on the National League of Cities Youth Planning Committee.
These peer conversations bring young people and members of their community together to talk about the gaps in interpersonal violence prevention and response, and come up with solutions and actions to fill those gaps.
